The Students Association hosted Software Training chaired by Racka Bali Pusca. The training this time raised CAD and Revit applications as training. This software was taken based on the most requests during a survey by distributing questionnaires in the department. This software training aims at assisting and providing understanding to students in operating civil engineering applications.
The purpose of this software training is to build a positive academic climate among the Civil Engineering students starting from the desire and effort of the students as well as to improve the ability and quality of students in mastering the software program in civil engineering. In addition, maintaining the students' potential who have abilities in operating the software program and later need a special management program to accommodate them.
This traning was devided into 2 training groups as follow:
Autocad class discusses a program that is commonly used for specific purposes in drawing and designing with the help of computers in the formation of two and three-dimensional or more and is known as a computer-aided drafting and design program (CAD). This program can be used in all fields of work, such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Graphic Design, and all fields related to the use of CAD. This software this is commonly used by the students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. This training was held on Sunday, 25 October 2020, Saturday, 31 October 2020 and Sunday, 1 November 2020. This training was is divided into 2 classes with Ahmad Aldo, S.Pd. and Salviandy Dhanizar Revit as the the speakers.
Autodesk Revit group as Autodek's Building Information Modeling (BIM) Software for architectural, structural and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design. With this software users can design buildings and structures with component modeling in 3D and simultaneously present working drawings in 2D. Furthermore, users can plan to determine the implementation stages of building elements and present information. This training is held on 25 October 2020, 31 October 2020 and 1 November 2020 at 08.00 WIB. This training gained 1 classwith Ilyasa Ridwan Ma'ruf as the speaker
This program involved 94 participants in the Autocad class and 90 participants in the Revit class online zoom platform.
