Tim Baruna-19 dari Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta yang beranggotakan tiga orang, yaitu Suryatama Ageng Pamuji, Rahardian Yusuf Yoga Pratama, dan Silmi Kaffah dengan Dosen Pembimbing Qonaah Rizqi Fajriani, S.T., M.Eng mulai melaksanakan persiapan lomba sejak bulan November dengan menyusun proposal secara online dengan tim yang terseleksi sebanyak 15 tim terbaik. Pada tanggal 17 Desember 2020, tibalah pengumuman semi finalis dan salah satu finalis ialah Baruna-19 yang berasal dari UNY.

Tim Bimasena Divisi Rancang Bangun UKM Rekayasa Teknologi dari Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan yang dibagi menjadi 3 tim yaitu Tim Bimasena Aye dengan ketua tim Nurul Aisyiyah K R (S1-PTSP-2019), Tim Bimasena Hore dengan ketua tim B. Tri Indriyani (S1-PTSP-2017), dan Tim Bimasena dengan ketua tim Aurellia Fanny Arista (D4-Teknik Sipil-2019).

Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanan, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (PTSP FT UNY) melaksanakan diskusi kurikulum bersama Dr. Asnul Dalhar Minghat dari Study Program of Bachelor of Technology with Education (Building Construction), Department of Technology and Engineering Education, Faculty of Social Science & Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) secara online pada tanggal 9 Desember 2020.

Menindaklanjuti pembahasan bersama terkait kesepakatan kerjasama antara Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (JPTSP FT UNY) dengan Dewan Pimpinan Propinsi Ikatan Nasional Tenaga Ahli Konsultan Indonesia Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DPP Intakindo DIY), pada tanggal 2 Desember 2020, 21 orang dosen JPTSP FT UNY dinyatakan lulus dan berhak menerima sertifikat keahlian (SKA), setelah melaksanakan ujian tertulis

Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education developes an academic collaboration program with Beihang University, China. This activity is held from March to November 2020. This activity is to increase academic development and improve the quality of education. Various activities that have been carried out include guest lecturers, visiting professors, visiting researchers, joint research and publications.

Industrial Visit and Comparative Study is one of the work programs of the Student Association which is under the Division of Communication and Information. This agenda aims at broadening the students' knowledge regarding construction work where students are facilitated to visit on-going projects in several regions and conduct comparative studies in those regions.

Stadium General is an annual public lecture held by the Student Association of Civil Engineering and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. In general, the material presented in this public lecture is material in the field of civil engineering which is suited with the current condition with the theme of "Strategies and Student Motivation during the Covid-19 Pandemic".

The Students Association hosted Software Training chaired by Racka Bali Pusca. The training this time raised CAD and Revit applications as training. This software was taken based on the most requests during a survey by distributing questionnaires in the department. This software training aims at assisting and providing understanding to students in operating civil engineering applications.

This annual activity is a series of events from Civil Explosion # 8 held by the Civil Engineering and Planning Student Association, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. On this occasion, the Student Association organized a National Seminar with the theme "Development of Sustainable Construction Policy in the Digital Era in Indonesia".
